As far as I know, this is the actual name of the falls. Clever, isn't it? This fall is on Glady Creek, just outside the park boundary at Valley Falls State Park, WV.
And I'm using Neutral Density (ND) filters. For this shot, I was using an ND8. And yeah, a polarizer is a must-have as well! What kind of camera are you shooting with?
Canon Rebel XS. Upgrading next February to the 7D. I have to have absolutely horribly overcast conditions to get decent waterfall shots. Have to get a set of filters soon. All I have is UV filters on both my lenses for protection mostly. Some of the waterfall shots come out okay anyway, but I almost always have to play around with them in lightroom to cut the exposure. Check out my gallery, there's a few in there.
