We set out early in the morning to make our way to the Olympic Peninsula for a day of waterfalls, Forks, and sunset at 2nd Beach.
I made *blyndspy pull over because the trees looked so pretty as we were driving through the morning fog. He pulled off and followed a dirt road for a bit until we came to this spot. We were both so intent on shooting the fog and trees that it didn't dawn on either of us that we were going to be treated to a beautiful sunrise over the distant Cascade Mountains. This is one of the later shots, after the sun rose and started beaming through the trees.
Those accidental or surprise sunrise/sunsets are always the best.
And you all know me well enough to know that sunbeams + fog = happy LeeAnne.
