Beautiful photo! Frozen in time. The crystals formation on this flower is magical. The clarity is good. Focus in the foreground looks like a glass window enhancing the crystallization on this plant. Lighting is perfect. I commend you on capturing the feeling of the cold day's ahead of Winters Glory. I am a Nature kind of guy watching the every changing ways of climatic changes to our planet and captivated by it's Beauty. Deviations I see are respected for their Beauty. this why I think I am deserving.
This one is exquisite. I want to know: did you bracket this to get the precise exposure? This is so perfect. The light reflecting on the frost is magical. This is such a poignant little moment as the oncoming winter claims the last bits of color. I do love this. So much.
Wow, your reaction has filled me with a much needed warmth! No, I did not bracket this shot. I really didn't have to do much at all except for some curves adjustments and sharpening. The light was just that good early morning glow. And, I'm so glad you saw the poignancy that I saw; it means a lot to me that I was able to convey that to you! Thanks so much, Terri.
lovely indeed! such a spectacular capture, LA..tones, comp, focus. from the crystallized flower trying to shed its frozen coat in that gorgeous light to the iced over bokeh..a nicely chosen title to accompany your beautiful shot. love it
