A great over view of what looks like a wonderful place for photography.Nice work ,and I understand your comment"I in no way could do this place justice".I have said that to myself on numerous occasions.
In camera HDR is pretty cool, as it tends to make things look much more natural than the standard bracketing method, at least for me. I'm not really good at the processing for the bracketed shots yet. One drawback to in camera HDR is that it will only shoot in JPEG using that function. So there is a trade-off, thus, I don't use it very often. I haven't acquired any new lenses since we last spoke about them, so this was just shot with my 18-70mm kit lens. I desperately want new lenses! I just ordered a 50mm portrait lens, and it should be here next week.
I'm still trying to figure out where to best use it. I think for the most part, it keeps the scene very natural looking. It does tend to err on the side of yellow, though, which I have to adjust in post processing. I'll keep experimenting with it, nonetheless.
