The folks in Pennsylvania apparently call these the "Natural Water Slides" of Ohiopyle State Park. It's basically a series of chutes on Meadow Run Creek that you can slide down. I would say that this is probably done when the water is lower in the summer because I wouldn't go in that water the way it was flowing at the time! Then again, maybe I'm just a chicken. ;)

Looking downstream.

I though i would let you know that the deviation [link] is using your image seemingly without permission. The artist has aparently used this image on Horseland.com and players of the game are confronting the artist about her improper use of nonstock images but i still thought it best to tell you of this.

I love the ferocity of this! great contrast to how water can appear so still and solidified with other types of long exposure shots. Bone on rock doesn't necessarily feel the greatest. ;)

Ohh I've been there! And I think it was good that you didn't go into the water when it looked like this! People said it was dangerous when it had rained, and the water flowed so much, but it was okay further down the stream :)
Great shot however! :)

You've really been to this spot!? Awesome! Yeah, I'm glad I didn't go in. ;)
Thanks so much for the comment, Lovisa. :)

Yes! I was there about three years ago when me and my family were traveling around the states :) I actually saw your picture and thought of that place, and then I read what you had written, and wow! :D

Haha! That's so cool! Glad you could see some of the same spots I've seen. Did you travel throughout the entire country?

Me too!
Well, we only stayed a month, so there wasn't enough time for that ;) but we went to New Haven (visited cousins), New York, Falling Water, the Niagara Falls, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, San Fransisco.. to name a few :)
