Melt by LAlight Melt by LAlight
It's quite a site to behold, seeing all the snow melt in the form of dozens of waterfalls coming off Big Four Mountain. A quick scramble up to the top of a small hill put us as close as we could safely get to the waterfalls for shooting. Though the famed ice caves weren't visible on this trip (I did see them last summer, though!) the waterfalls and fog cloaked mountain more than made up for their absence.

:giggle: NW screamer...we should get rights to that! Yeah, almost seems like there should be some logs!
Thanks so much, sweetie! Was definitely a challenge for me, especially shooting with that stupid telephoto lens that I usually hate so much. Was happy to finally get a couple keepers out of it this time. =D

It is less true in the desert....but then you rely more on the light and the sky to add the variety.

Hey thanks, Steve! It did work in our favor that day, though I wish we could have seen the mountain peaks. I did see them last time, so the different weather was just fine. :)
