This shot was kind of an afterthought, to be honest. I had shot the mountain and the falls with both my wide angle and telephoto lenses, then put the 50mm on for some flowers and droplets shots. As we walked away from the mountain, I turned around and saw this and had to shoot it. I'm not accustomed to shooting landscapes with my 50mm, and have only done it a handful of times. But every time, I'm surprised by the outcome.
The foggy and rainy conditions made for an otherworldly experience. Though I lost the green mosses in the conversion to black and white, I think it really enhanced the mood.
