Peak/Peek

An impromptu late afternoon drive on the Mountain Loop Highway brought rain at our level, but some spring snow higher up in the mountains. We pulled over to shoot the river and mountains, so I got out my telephoto lens to try and capture the trees peeking out at us from the fog and clouds. Two realizations came from shooting here: one, the mountains are ever-elusive, and two, I need a faster lens!
