It was a beautiful day to shoot in the New River Gorge!
Lack of rain means that the waterfalls are again drying up at the end of summer. But that didn't stop us from taking the opportunity to shoot from multiple angles that would otherwise have been harder to get to...in fact, we shot until we ran out of light.

Ooh, love the contrast of the colours, and the rich green of the woods. The composition and quality is great too. The only thing that disturbs me is the bits of leaves on the right side of the falls. I wouldn't have minded much if the leaves were the same colour, but the weird array scattered like that reminded me of the trash that people throw out carelessly sometimes. Other than that, I really like this shot. Great work, as usual!
Interesting point about the leaves...didn't see it like that myself, but I do understand what you're saying! I thought about moving them, but thought that they helped hold the viewer's attention there, so I left them. Thanks for the input!
