This is seriously one of the most beautiful falls I've ever seen in person. Not only is the waterfall beautiful, but the surrounding forest is also so majestic.
The falls drop a total of 130 feet. The top drop is beautiful from below...but absolutely breathtaking from the top! One of the scariest climbs of my life (proof that I'm not used to REAL mountains) took me up to the base of the top tier: root-grabbing, footholds, clinging to the side of the hill for dear life. And let's not talk about climbing back down! It was an exhilarating experience, one that I will never forget. And, it doesn't seem so scary anymore.
I have always wanted to visit Olympic National Forest. This picture is gorgeous!!! Wonderful! I can't barely walk so I enjoy your narrative and the beautiful pictures! Thank you so much for sharing!
I read how difficult, and a little bit scary it was for you to climb. I have to take my adventures now from my computer chair. I hiked the John Muir Trail many times with my brothers and sisters, and dad in my youth with a 60lb pack on my back. Your adventures give me a thrill, and continue my love for wilderness. Thank you! Annie I love reading about what you experience!
